How You Can Help

There are many ways in which people can help us in our mission to Zimbabwe:

1. Financially
The primary purpose of raising funds is for direct support of the VOH and it’s work in caring for the orphans in Harare, Zimbabwe.

There are very ways in which you can give towards this project:

  • give directly on a one time basis (checks made out to Hanover Pentecostal Church designated to the current Zimbabwe Project [i.e. Zimbabwe 2008] or to “Village of Hope”).
  • Pledge a certain amount per month.
  • Express support via one of the fund-raisers that are promoted on this website
  • Support an individual team member who is going on the current Short Term Missions Trip (in your designation to the current missions project [i.e. Zimbabwe 2008] indicate the name of the team member as well).
  • Give online

2. Prayer
The most important need for the Mission Zimbabwe is prayer. Whether you join an existing prayer team or consistently and regularly pray on your own, the success of every project in Zimbabwe depends on God’s direction, wisdom, and provision - and so we pray for that! We post specific prayer requests on here and you can also visit the prayer requests on the Village of Hope Website.

3. Participation in Planning/Logistical Support
There’s a lot of different work that goes into planning the various projects we engage in. The teams going on a Short Term Missions Trip will obviously be involved with a great deal of the preparation but there is also plenty of room for help from other willing supporters! Areas that you could be involved in are:

  • Help with various fund-raiser being planned (either by serving on one of the planning committees or helping with the actual event). Visit here for a list of upcoming fundraisers. This list will be updated as plans progress.)
  • Help in promoting the current project(s) and gathering prayer and financial support. Do you know of individuals or businesses that might be interested in supporting this kind of humanitarian project?
  • Help in gathering necessary supplies and materials that can accompany the teams that go to Zimbabwe.
  • Commit to pray regularly and encourage a specific team member. If each team member knows there is a group of people regularly interceding before God on their behalf and receives regular encouragement from this group imagine what a difference that will make!

If there is anything here that piques your interest and you want to help in a specific way (or just have questions) - make sure you contact us! We’d love to hear from you!
